Get the Gospel Feeling on April 24

BOONE – Appalachian State University’s Gospel Choir will perform in concert on Sunday, April 24, at 6 p.m. at Farthing Auditorium. Admission is free. For more information, visit www.music.appstate.edu or call (828) 262-3020.

The Gospel Choir is directed by Dr. Roosevelt Escalante Jr.

The program for the evening will be selected from the following: “Enter In” and “We’ve Come to Praise Him” by Chester Baldwin, “Psalm 24” and “How Deeply I Need You” by Shekinah Glory, “Okay” and “Ready, Willing, Able” by Escalante Jr., “I’m Ready” by New Direction, “I Speak Life” by Donald Lawrence, “Yes, I’m a Believer” by Timothy Right, “Hold Me Now” by Kirk Franklin, “Make Me Over” by Tonex, and “Jesus Be a Fence” by Sam Cooke.
