Collegium Musicum Performs April 4

BOONE--Collegium Musicum will perform Sunday, April 4, at 4 p.m. in Broyhill Music Center’s Rosen Concert Hall at Appalachian State University.

The Mariam Cannon Hayes School of Music ensemble performs music from the baroque period. The recital is free and the public is invited.

Directed by Alicia Chapman, the performance features guest vocalist Mary Gayle Greene.

The concert begins with “Sonata I in D Major” by Georg Muffat. Also included are selections from William Byrd, John Dowland and J.S. Bach. The evening will conclude with “Quartet in G Major” by G.P. Telemann.
