Co-recipients of the award are the Historic Chattahoochee Commission (HCC) and the Troup County Historical Society (TCHS). BOONE—Appalachian State University will test its AppState Alert siren system Wednesday, July 11, at 11:55 a.m. Tests of the siren system are normally conducted on the first Wednesday of the month, but the July test was moved because of the July 4 holiday. [more]
