Prospective members of Delta Zeta sorority at Appalachian State University participated in an Angel Tree project for the College of Health Sciences’ Communication Disorders Clinic located in University Hall in Boone. Prospective members contributed funds to purchase clothes and gifts for two families served by the clinic. Their contributions were matched by the local Delta Zeta membership. Pictured from left are Carrie Cobb, new member class philanthropy chair, Austen Mauney and Anona Miller, along with Delta Zeta advisor Elena Taylor and Sherry Street Tobin, director of the clinic’s preschool classroom. Delta Zeta’s national philanthropy focuses on the speech and hearing impaired.
