BOONE – Appalachian State University’s Looking Glass Gallery is accepting donations through Feb. 7 for its next exhibit “Body Culture Sculpture.” This is part of the Gallery’s upcoming Spring 2011 show “Gut Feelings: Confessions of a body conscious culture.” The exhibition will be on view from Feb. 8 to March 1. The students are among thousands of high school seniors from across North Carolina and the Southeast who are receiving long-awaited admissions letters informing them of acceptance into their university of choice. Consultants with the firm have visited campus to meet with various constituencies and listen to faculty, staff and students about the dynamic and enterprising leader they hope to bring to Appalachian.
