Lecture by Victor Stenger March 31

BOONE—Victor J. Stenger, New York Times bestselling author of “God: The Failed Hypothesis, How Science Shows That God Does Not Exist,” will present a free and open-to-the-public lecture, “Is There Evidence for Life After Death?,” March 31 from 5:30-7 p.m. in I.G. Greer Auditorium at Appalachian State University.

Having spent an academic career in particle physics, Stenger brings his expertise to bear upon recent claims made by authors such as Dinesh D’Souza that contemporary physics and neuroscience support life-after-death hypotheses. Stenger does not believe this to be the case. The lecture is sure to be both provocative and controversial.
