BOONE—Scott Kallestad conducts the saxophone choir in a performance of chamber music March 22 at Appalachian State University.

The performance begins at 8 p.m. in Broyhill Music Center’s Rosen Concert Hall. Admission is free.

The 12-member saxophone choir is an ensemble in Appalachian’s Hayes School of Music.

The program includes “Smiles and Chuckles” by F. Henri Klickmann, Domenico Scarlatti’s “Sonata, K. 525,” Isaac Albeniz’s “Sevilla,” Johann Sebastian Bach’s “Fugue No. 22” from the “Well-Tempered Clavichord” and “Jupiter” from Gustav Holst’s “The Planets.”
