BOONE—Enjoy an early musical Valentine celebration Feb. 12 with Todd Wright and friends.

The performance, titled “A Valentine Evening,” begins at 8 p.m. in Broyhill Music Center’s Rosen Concert Hall at Appalachian State University. Admission is free.

Saxophonist Todd Wright will perform with trombonist Rick Simerly, guitarist Andy Page, bass player Zack Page and drummer Rick Dilling.

The program includes “Match Maker,” “My Funny Valentine,” “What Is This Thing Called Love,” “You Stepped Out Of a Dream” and other selections suitable for a romantic evening.
