BOONE—Student string musicians in Appalachian State University’s Hayes School of Music will perform chamber works for string ensembles Nov. 17 at 8 p.m. in Broyhill Music Center’s Recital Hall.

The musicians are coached by Nancy Bargerstock, Eric Koontz and Kenneth Lurie.

The program includes Hummel’s “String Trio,” the allegro from Mozart’s “String Quintet No. 4 in G minor K. 516,” Beethoven’s “Duo: For Two Eyeglasses Obligato,” the allegro from Beethoven’s “Quartet in f minor, op. 95” and two movements from Ralph Vaughan Williams’ “Quintet for Piano and Strings.”
