Sharpe Solar conducts a photovoltaic workshop June 5 at Appalachian

BOONE—John Harwick, Sharp Solar’s lead trainer, will lead a workshop on photovoltaic technology and system design Friday, June 5, at Appalachian State University.

This one-day workshop will provide a thorough overview of PV technology by one of the leading manufacturers of PV modules in the world. Sharp is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of photovoltaic modules. The company has a manufacturing facility in Tennessee.

The workshop costs $150 for nonstudents and $75 for students. Participation is limited to 75.

Registration and breakfast beginning at 8:30 a.m. and the workshop will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The workshop will be taught in Room 178 Harper Hall on Rivers Street on campus.
