MEISA Music Festival May 1

MEISA and Split Rail Records presents MEISA Music Fest ’09 live at Geno’s, May 1. The festival begins at 7 p.m. Bands performing are Major Magick, BPL, The Groovenauts and Doc Aquatic.  Admission is $5, which will be used to fund CD projects and support student travel to music business conferences.

Between sets DJ “Lights Out” Ian Hayes will spin everything from house music to hip hop. WASU will be on location for a live broadcast.

MEISA is the Music and Entertainment Industry Student Association at Appalachian. Split Rail Records is the student-run record label based in the Hayes School of Music.
