Hayes Graduate String Quartet performs April 5

BOONE—The Hayes Graduate String Quartet from Appalachian State University’s Hayes School of Music will perform April 5 at 6 p.m. in Broyhill Music Center’s Recital Hall. Admission is free.

Program on Camp Catawba presented April 7 at Appalachian

Brass ensembles from Appalachian perform March 30

BOONE—Various brass ensembles from Appalachian State University’s Hayes School of Music will present a free performance March 30 at 8 p.m. in Broyhill Music Center’s Rosen Concert Hall.

Art Expo 2009 presented through April 17 at Appalachian

BOONE— Appalachian State University presents Art Expo 2009, an annual juried student exhibition through April 17 at Farthing Auditorium’s Catherine J. Smith Gallery.

BOONE—Appalachian State University’s Institute for Senior Scholars (ISS) is a noncredit, lifelong learning program designed for the retired/semi-retired mature learner. 

N.C. Arts Council grant funds bluegrass CD project
