BOONE—The Appalachian Gospel Choir from Appalachian State University’s Hayes School of Music will perform Dec. 7 at 6 p.m. in Farthing Auditorium. Admission is free.

The choir is directed by Jason D. Thompson. Accompanist are Thompson, Michael Alvarado and
Jacqueline Gray on piano, percussionists Dallas Lyons, Shantakiya Cohen and Tyron Young, and bass player Joseph Brown.

The choir will sing “Let it Rise” by William Murphy III, “Our Father You Are Holy” by Ricky Dillard, “He Reigns” by Kirk Franklin and “Praise Him In Advance” by Marvin Sapp.

Also on the program are “Let Me Touch You” by Kirk Franklin, “Order My Steps” by Mississippi Mass Choir, “Glory to the New Born King” arranged by Thompson and “Anthem of Praise” by Richard Smallwood.
