Technologyclass.jpgRenee Cook (standing right), a program manager from Appalachian State University’s Office of Extension and Distance Education, talks about a proposal to offer a degree in construction management at the North Carolina Center for Engineering Technologies (NCCET) in Hickory. Twenty-six prospective students attended the session, which included remarks from Dr. Sid Connor, NCCET director, Tom Fisher, executive director of the Office of Extension and Distance Education, Dr. Jeff Ramsdell, a professor of building science, and Professor Jeff Tiller, chairman of the Department of Technology. Appalachian plans to begin the degree program in Hickory in January 2009.
