Call for nominations: Board of Governors Excellence in Teaching Awards, the Oliver Max Gardner Award and the Board of Governors Excellence in Public Service Award.

The University Awards Committee at Appalachian State University is accepting nominations through Friday, Oct. 3, at 5 p.m. for the 2008-2009 Board of Governors Excellence in Teaching Awards.

The nominations for the Oliver Max Gardner and the Board of Governors Excellence in Public Service Award are due no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 10.

To nominate a faculty member, make sure they are eligible by referring to http://www.teachingawards.appstate.edu for details, eligibility requirements, a link to past winners and the nomination form.
