A panel discussion on race in the criminal justice system will be held Friday, April 18, at 7 p.m. in Room 027 Belk Library and Information Commons.

Panelists are Dr. Matt Robinson from Appalachian’s Department of Political Science and Criminal Justice, Steve Hunt, a criminal justice instructor at Catawba Valley Community College, and Bobbie Brannon, a sociology instructor at Catawba Valley Community College.

The campus community is invited to attend. In addition, donations of hygiene products will be collected and donated to Exodus Home in Hickory.
