Special program presented by the Department of Philosophy and Religion April 2

BOONE—The Department of Philosophy and Religion presents a talk by Owen Flanagan April 2 from 5-6:30 p.m. in I.G. Greer Auditorium at Appalachian State University.

Flanagan is the James B. Duke Professor of Philosophy and a professor of neurobiology at Duke University.

He is the author of “Consciousness Reconsidered,” “The Problem of the Soul” and “The Really Hard Problem: Meaning in a Material World.”

His talk is titled “The Really Hard Problem: Meaning in a Material World.” The presentation is free and open to the public.
