Appalachian Hosts Spring Open House April 3

BOONE — Nervous about attending college? You can ease into the campus experience by joining Appalachian State University as it welcomes prospective students and their parents to campus on Saturday, April 3. The Spring Open House offers the opportunity to tour residence halls and become familiar with different aspects of campus life.

Representatives from academic departments will be available to answer questions at the Holmes Convocation Center from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Also during these times, Appalachian Student Ambassadors will lead campus tours.

Get a taste of dorm and classroom life by joining academic departments and residence halls as they host open houses allowing visitors to tour and ask questions from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

Mini sessions on admissions, athletics, financial aid, freshman learning communities, honors/scholarships, and Watauga College will be held with representatives offering 20-minute presentations on these topics. Details will be provided at the Information Fair.

Parking without charge is available at the following lots: Hill Street, Thomas Hall, and Edwin Duncan/Raley Hall. Disability parking is available in the Holmes Center lot. Shuttle service will be provided from Hill Street and Raley Hall lots. Parking is also available in the Rivers Street Parking deck.
