Furture Teachers

Sossamon is from Monroe. Long is from Wallburg. The Reich College of Education received the highest possible rating on the 2001-02 Institutions of Higher Education Performance Report from the N.C. State Board of Education. Appalachian was among seven of North Carolina’s 48 undergraduate teacher education programs that were designated as “exemplary.” Appalachian consistently has ranked among the top programs since the State Board began rating schools in 2000.
