Summer Preview Program

BOONE–Incoming freshmen at Appalachian State University can participate in the Summer Preview program July 6 through Aug. 8.

The program helps incoming students make the transition to college. Students will stay in Lovill Residence Hall and earn six hours of college credit by enrolling in Freshman Seminar (US 1150) and one core curriculum class. They also will attend a number of evening and weekend activities typical of the range of activities available at Appalachian.

The cost to attend the program is $1,234 for in-state students and $2,278 for out-of-state students.

This includes tuition, fees, room and board.

Enrollment is limited to 140 students and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Summer Preview staff will be at the university’s Spring Open House on April 13 to answer any questions that parents or students may have.
