Travel to Charlotte to See the Opera “La Traviata”

BOONE–Travel from Boone to Charlotte to see

Giuseppe Verdi’s classic “La Traviata” with other opera fans and the staff of the Appalachian State University Cultural Museum.

A bus will leave Boone at 10:45 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 6 for the Blumenthal Theatre and a matinee performance of the tragic love story set in 19th century Paris.

An Italian lunch will be served on the bus in honor of the composer. After the opera, the group will eat at Le Bistro in the theatre’s Winter Garden.

The tour will return to Boone by 9 p.m. The cost is $103 per person, which includes transportation, ticket and dinner.
